The PlayStations have been a great product from Sony and also the most famous and bought Console in the whole gaming industry. PS5:Specs

As there is only a little bit of change in the logo of PS5, but on the other hand, there are a hefty amount of changes in the inner Specification which we are going to talk about in this section.

This year, the new PS5 includes features such as ray tracing support, thanks to several wired pieces. Its appearance was confirmed in June reveal event- alongside several accessories and news of a digital-only edition.

So given below are the specifications of the new PS5:

CPU8x Zen 2 Cores at 3.5GHz (variable frequency)
GPU10.28 TFLOPs, 36 CUs at 2.23GHz (variable frequency)
GPU ArchitectureCustom RDNA 2
Memory/Interface16GB GDDR6/256-bit
Memory Bandwidth448GB/s
Internal StorageCustom 825GB SSD
IO Throughput5.5GB/s (Raw), Typical 8-9GB/s (Compressed)
Expandable StorageNVMe SSD Slot
External StorageUSB HDD Support
Optical Drive (optional)4K UHD Blu-ray Drive

The choice of GPU has been decided by the belief Sony has that, as Rich Leadbetter from Digital Foundry explains,”a smaller GPU can be a more nimble, more agile GPU, the inference being that PS5’s graphics core should be able to deliver performance higher than you may expect from a TFLOPs number that doesn’t accurately encompass the capabilities of all parts of the GPU.””

SSD of PS5

The new custom 825GB SSD will also help increase performance. As Rich explains in his analysis,” Sony’s actual implementation is something else, with performance rated at two orders of magnitude faster than PlayStation 4. 2GB of data can be loaded in one-quarter of a second, meaning that in theory, the entirety of PS5’s 16GB can be filled in just two seconds.”

All Confirmed features of PS5

1.PS5 supports expandable storage, but you have to first contact Sony to know which type to use because the gaming consoles have slightly different types of mechanisms inside them. So an NVME drive without valid may result in console failure.

2. It will support backward compatibility, with seemingly all PS4 games, due to it being “based in part on the PS4’s architecture”.The performance boost of the PS5 is so significant, however, that these games will need testing. Sony has said that the majority of the top 100 most played games are working, so expect support for the biggest PS4 titles at launch.

3. Game installations will be more configurable: The mechanism of SSD inside the ps5 will able to players to delete the campaign mode without removing the multiplayer one if the supported is provided by the developers.

4.PS5 will have some form of cloud functionality – “we are cloud-gaming pioneers,’ Cerny told Wired, “

5.PS5 accessories include a charging station, a pulse 3d wireless headset, a media Remote, and an HD camera with dual “1080p lenses”.

6.PS5 PSVR supports, at least with thecurrent headset, has been confirmed.

7.PS5 home screen will be more dynamic. This means that it will show live elements, such as displaying available missions or allowing players to select their activity in real-time.

Price:

As per the details we know about the PS5 specs, it can be estimated but it whole depends upon the kind of package they will form like whether it will be having headsets with it or VR,etc. But due to lot of sources floating in the air it is estimated to cost somewhat around $500-$600/440-550 euros/Rs.45000
